Here’s a little good news I can share with you today…

The sun’s out today which is a very nice change after the soaking rains we’ve had this past week!

I’ve been seeing “flat iron steaks” at the meat counter lately but haven’t a clue as to how to cook one. I’d love to try it but I don’t want to ruin a perfectly good cut of meat by improper cooking methods. Can someone help a poor girl out??

Seems like a lot of rain although I doubt it’s doing much to make up for last year’s big drought. This morning’s commute was a little stressful…I don’t like driving in the rain (who does?) and because it was still so dark when I left home, I was blinded by the headlights of oncoming traffic.
