I’m not sure if it is because I went in to the movie with lowered expectations or raised blood alcohol* or none of the above, but I throughly enjoyed An American Carol.

I’m sure glad that evil Rethuglicans are the only ones who ramp up their voter base using fear. Isn’t that we’re always told?

What a difference a week makes.  Just a few days ago, House Republicans were “unpatriotic” for not voting for an earmark-laden, pork-filled bill effectively torpedoed by the lack of votes from her own  House Democrat Majority.

I know I’ve been absent.  I’m sorry.  I’m a bad person.  But I’m excited about the throwdown tonight.
