Slap me. One of the things I forgot in pushing the "on" button for the new NIT was what the new site would do to the old NIT's RSS feed. Over the past 2 days I've been in that dark ravene known as the back-to-back meeting where narry a tweet can be seen.
I just caught up on what some of you have pointed out on your blogs was a huge issue with the RSS feed pushing our aggregator through your readers and blogs. Yuck!
It's now fixed. You can continue using the old NIT RSS feed: http://www.nashvilleistalking.com/feed/ which will give you only posts here on NIT by me.

I'm so relieved that this was an accident. I've been wondering the past few days why in the world the RSS feed was including all the aggregator content. I thought maybe it was on purpose and that the point of the new NiT was to aggregate without commentary from a single point of view about local topics. If so, that would have been a big step in the wrong direction.
If nothing else, trying to read the NiT feed along with the Volunteer Voters feed was maddening. Thanks so much for correcting this.
