Hillary Clinton under fire

Hillary Clinton recently recounted a trip she took in the 1990s to Bosnia where she arrived under sniper fire and had to make a mad dash from the landing strip to a motorcade waiting near by. One problem with that version of events is video from that day tells a dramatically different story, and some untapped part of Glen Dean finds this rather amusing.

She just can’t help herself. She has to tell lies. She has to make things up. How do you Clinton supporters justify this? Still no comment from
TGW, btw.

Neither candidate was my first choice (because obviously, I hate women AND tall guys), but I can vote for either with less trepidation than I felt in 2004.

That said, it's difficult to reconcile misremembering being in mortal danger with a simple characterization of "misspeaking." Being shot at leaves a definite impression. The kindest word I can find here is "puffery."
