One of the most heinous instruments of war are cluster bombs. The damage caused by these packaged-together bomblets can be extensive. Nor are they precise — targeting a large area rather than a specific point. And these cluster bombs have a devastating effect on the population for years.

There have been humanitarian calls to end the use of cluster bombs, and a Treaty has been penned. 11
