‘Sinking feeling’ sets in as Normandy levels drop

"A year ago, with the region parching in the midst of a drought, local water officials were worriedly watching the levels of Normandy Lake slowly but steadily dropping, and anxiously talking to TVA and various state agencies to reduce the amount of water leaving the lake via the gates of Normandy Dam."
