Higher Education in Nashville

The purposes of this group:
1. Make the public aware of events that might be of interest to the broader Nashville and Middle Tennessee area (outside of athletics)
2. Highlight issues that universities face as part of their respective neighborhoods and council districts.
3. Feature significant accomplishments of the men an women who work in higher education who contribute to the quality of life in Nashville.
4. Feature student interaction with the community, particularly in the areas of social entrepreneurship, volunteer service, and non-profit organizations.

Edwards and all that

This Edwards thing is a bit discouraging is it not. Not because we once
again discover that one of our favorites has clay feet -- dig around long enough and you will discover that they all do -- but because this
guy was so good at making us think he was real. He knew he was good at

Let him who has eyes see.

The NT abounds with metaphors about how life in the spirit allows us to see the world as it truly is, at face value, although Paul says it will always be through a glass darkly. We think about spirituality as committment, grounding, discipline, and fellowship but we rarely think about how spirituality allows us to see, in this case the old and new creations.

Feature Overload

I can see how all the bells and whistles may take some getting used to, but what you have pulled together is pretty amazing.

My initial reaction is that some sort of basic function list of "how to's" might be useful. Most are accustomed to adding comments...but the forums and groups may take some cultivating.

Images in Group Articles?

Is it possible to add an image to an article? I have looked around and played with the html to get an image to appear to no avail. Am I missing something?
