So, the big buzz this week has to do drilling oil off-shore in order to lower our gas prices at home.
Well, that's a sham. It will take 7+ years for that oil to hit the market and, even then, it will be sold on a global market which means that US oil won't really be any cheaper for us than Saudi or Venezuelan oil.
Then again, it's time to look at energy policy. I really think that we might need to start looking at off-shore drilling as well as shale in the foreseeable future.
