The Nashville Sounds have missed a deadline for extending their lease at Greer Stadium, adding to the uncertainty about their Music City future.

Metro Finance Director Rich Riebeling said the Sounds missed a July 1 deadline to give six months’ notice if they want to extend the lease beyond its Dec. 31 expiration date.

Riebeling said the lea
