Already, numerous groups have applied for licenses to peacefully assemble across the street from the Democratic convention. There is also a significant amount of people who aren't applying for licenses, and just plan on showing up to protest.

The first amendment. I love it. However, it guarantees the right to PEACEFUL assembly, not violence, and there are several groups who are less than peaceful who have stated they will go to the convention to protest Obama.
