I saw Trouble the Water tonight — excellent, deeply moving film. I think the tag line sums it up nicely –

It’s not about a hurricane… it’s about America

The City Paper is sucked up so hard on Mayor Karl Dean's coattails that they could see plainly those CMs who are similarly latched right next to them as well as the unclamped. Southcomm holds no punches for the previous Mayor but it seems averse to getting on the bad side of the current regime, lest it end up out of the loop.

-Nice open field tackling on the first play of the 4th quarter on the pass to Mauric Jones-Drew

-Albert Haynesworth pretty much ate David Garrard on 3rd down.  He said on the radio Tuesday that is the play he got the concussion on

-Chris Carr called a fair catch for no reason.  I don't think he is the answer to the Titans special teams woes

Rudy!  Sarah Palin!  Great speeches last night.  Rudy was having a lot of fun.  It was like a charity boxing match.  He was throwing punches left and right and laughing all the while.

All the anticipation and excitement for a new football season, full of promise, hope and a ton of questions came to a climax last night when the Vols traveled to the West Coast to play UCLA. And, as with most trips to the West Coast, the Vols came away not doing so well.

Okay, quick compie update. Dropped computer off with awesome and super hot handsome and wonderful Tech Geeks today. Lugged the comp into the shop while pushing stroller, and one came running to help me. See?
