While Mike Padgett may have ever so slightly higher name recognition than Bob Tuke according to one Republican poll, it appears that the former Democratic Party Chair has higher name-id outside of Tennessee.

Wesley Clark, a Four-Star General (ret.), was the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1997 to 2000 and a Democratic candidate for President in 2004.
