Thomas Sowell included some of this information in a column from 2006, which I just happened to run across. "...food prices have risen at its fastest rate in 17 years and they aren't likely to come down any time soon."9

Last week the Tennessee State Senate Education Committee unanimously passed legislation out of their committee that would ban credit card solicitations on State college campuses. The bill grew out of concern about students graduating with large credit card debt. Somebody’s Been Listening To Some Talk Radio13
