I’ve never understood taking public funding in the first place. Oh, I know there is a science behind government and politics. There is also science behind bacteria growing.

Given the current, and likely future, circumstances with gas and transportation it would seem those monies should
be open to making the best moves possible. Whatever that may be. Which could be mass transit, via passenger rail lines, etc.
