If we overlook for a second the fact that every time Bill Hobbs puts fingers to keyboard he’s making the state of Tennessee look like a scary backwater unfriendly to all outsiders and the TNGOP look like a bunch of bullies, it’s hard not to enjoy his antics just a little bit.

Congressman Steve Cohen has a reputation of saying what is ever on his mind and usually his words are laced with pop culture analogies, Memphis anecdotes as well as that he is Tennessee’s only liberal rep in Congress.

Congressman Cohen attempted to surgically remove his foot from his mouth after going on a local Fox affiliate where he said in reference to Sen. Clinton, "Glenn Close should have just stayed in the tub." Over at Egalia's house, Rep. Cohen left a comment apologizing for his remark:
