I was lucky enough to be able to fill as host for Lee and Terry Frank on their Radio show today. I invited all the candidates in the 20th house district to come in for some grilling by Sen. Raymond Finney and myself. They all showed up except Mr. Ramsey.

We just interviewed Congressman David Davis (R) from the 1st District about energy and taxes. I’ll write more later, but he’ll be on C-Span tonight with other GOP members as they appear on the floor to deliver speeches about energy.  He’ll be on sometime around the 8:00 hour.

There are three hot-topic issues going on in Nashville as the Tennessee General Assembly winds down its 2008 session. The first deals with the unfolding saga of how we are going to select our Supreme Court judges (apparently, we're not).
