It seems to me things are getting better. I can see more gas stations are open for business, though prices are still around $4/gallon. I still haven’t needed to fill up, but I’m below 1/4 tank and will need to next week.

While we seem to have an ample supply of regular gasoline in Nashville, Charlotte (NC) drivers are being told Gas is coming, Charlotte mayor says.

Last Friday, we (in Nashville) were told that “we would be well-supplied by Monday.” Ha!

On the heels of the coldest winter in the country since 2001 (and one of the coldest since national record-keeping began in 1895), we are more than three weeks into a spring that is little warmer. Here in Clarksville, Tenn., temps dropped below freezing last night and in some counties south.
