Fred Hobbs, the embattled member of the Tennessee Democratic Executive Committee, who last week wondered aloud to the City Paper as to whether or not Sen. Obama had ties to terrorism, has seen the error of his ways and written a letter to his colleagues on the committee:

BAGHDAD - It’s Father’s Day, so at the end of the service this evening the Chaplain asked all the fathers to stand for a blessing. Of the 50 people there, I counted only four still in their seats.
