I can’t say that I’ve been personally touched by a war as in someone real close to me has died or is currently serving … my grandfather served in WWII, but having not spent too much time with him growing up, and having never heard one story from him about it, its kind of like out of sight, out of mind.

Iraq's Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has ordered a "decisive" push to fully defeat the last elements of al Qaeda in Iraq.

He said Iraqi soldiers and police were being sent to Mosul, where a massive blast blamed on al Qaeda killed 40 people and wounded 220 on Wednesday, and an operations room had been set up in the city, 390 km north of Baghdad.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." In my opinion, this Amendment could not possibly be more straight-forward, it states clearly "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED". Unfortunately there are many people who believe that we should not have this right. Or that the word "Militia" means our armed forces, or the National Guard...
