didn’t realize how much the news media loved and protected Brett Favre until I tried to find a picture of him crying. The only one I could find was from this blog. And this shot is a screen grab.

There’s an old story about frogs. I hear it’s true although I’ve never tested it. If you toss a frog into boiling water, he’ll do his best to jump out. But it’s said if you put a frog in room temperature water and turn the heat on, the frog will stay there even after it boils because the change in temperature happens gradually.

Somebody please tell me I wasn't the only one listening during yesterday's drive time who heard Ann Lloyd (WUOT-FM, "All Things Considered" Local Host) tell listeners that "Independent voters are not allowed in the state primary" and they won't be able to vote until the general election.
