The Donkey’s Mouth took a hiatus from blogging last week as we travelled to Denver for the Democratic National Convention.  And we have pictures from the last night at Mile High Stadium (to be posted later) inluding shots from Bill Richardson, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and of course the fireworks . . . everyone loves fireworks regardless of their political stripes.

I just got word from a source within the Democratic Party in Denver, that Barack Obama will enter Invesco Field tonight riding on a donkey in a white robe. Spectators are to be given palm branches and will all be shouting “Hosanna, Hosanna” as he makes his triumphal entry. Gosh this is exciting.
