We are headed back to TN today.  Normally I’d say take the long way back, but there isn’t much to see in AL.  I’m going to miss the house and the beach and all the beautiful flowers.  But I terribly miss my cat and my fish.  And my internet connection.  We don’t have a phone here, so we are “borrowing” someones unsecured wireless connection in the neighb

Kids are curious--this is not exactly a revelation--but there is at least one man who, for our purposes we will call Mr. Jerk at the Farmer's Market who thinks all children should be born without any sense of fun, curiosity or desire to learn.
My daughter is about as curious as they come.
If I had a dollar for every question she asked me just today I would easily be a millionaire.

My blogging seems to come in bursts. In fact, I'm writing several blog posts today (June 19) and then scheduling them to post once a day so I don't clog anybody's feed reader. But that's okay. As long as I keep the crowd happy. Or indifferent.

Today is a very special day.  Today is mom’s day.  Be sure to spend time with her!  I knew I wasn’t going to be able to put flowers on my mothers grave today, so I went a few weeks ago and bought her some beautiful flowers and placed along her tombstone.
