Kleinheider pointed earlier to an article in The Hill which "details" Obama's problem with Jewish Democrats. Without any real investigation to verify the claims, the article asserts:

Howard Dean has played on that age-old stereotype that Republicans are racist. While making a speech Tuesday night, Dean noted that "...a woman and an African-American as the two front-runners, the Democratic field 'looks like America,' while the all-white male Republican field 'looks like the 1950s and talks like the 1850s.'"

The Politico explains how the first “Super Tuesday” primary twenty years ago was originally set up for the benefit of Al Gore:

“Democrats controlled legislatures throughout the South. So they used their leverage to set up an early, multistate primary. Ironically, the ‘moderate’ that wound up in the White House turned out to be [Republican] George H.W. Bush.”

Just as many GOP voters have crossed over to vote in the Michigan Democratic Party as vice versa according to the early absentee ballot count despite a Democratic party ruling that led many candidates to remove their name from the ballot:
