I originally saw this posted on FARK under the "stupid" category....It is unbelievable to me the callous disregard for humanity so many in our country have.

With the amount of suffering and callous disregard for it from so many physicians and hospitals around the country, I'm frankly surprised I haven't heard of someone holding a doctor hostage and forcing him/her to perform surgery on a loved one who can't afford it otherwise....

Maybe doctors have just been lucky....so far....
