That’s a headline you never want to see. Unemployment has hit a 5-year high of 6.1% and total jobs lost this year, 605,000.

I’m aware of IKEA’s success and fan-following, but I’ll admit, when it comes to shopping for anything that doesn’t plug in, I try to avoid all forms of the retail experience. But even in Nashville, where we have no IKEA, it’s a store that still has a big following.
