The factcheckers are on the job, but I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that both John McCain and Barack Obama mangled the truth to some extent. This was not a debate to change minds. It would have been much more interesting if they'd actually debated each other. Yawn.

I just finished listening to Obama's Democratic Convention speech again this morning. No matter what happens over the next few months, whether or not Barack Obama is elected as our next president, he should be chosen to stand up and talk to America a couple of times every year.
