Did Andrea Mitchell just say about the news coverage of the financial crisis, “We shouldn’t be gaming it minute by minute?”  Really?

If you visit lots of chat groups and blogs like I do, you have probably come across the widely circulated list of "Obama's 50 lies." With this being the season of extreme partisanship, it is easy to believe the worst about your opponent. I researched the list to see if it was something I wanted to repost. I discovered the list is simply not true.

When a member of the mainstream press interviews a Democrat, the interviewer will only ask questions that allow the interviewee to present himself or herself in a favorable light. The objective of the interview is to edify. The interviewer should ask a lot of general and open-ended questions.

There is so much going around the net right now about Palin, but the best stuff has already come from the Obamessiah’s slobbering supporters. With this pick, their true colors are going to come shining through like never before.

David Oatney thinks that Republicans need to being willing to run against the press:

Terry Frank points out that media coverage of Obama during his recent overseas trip outweighed media coverage of McCain's March trip more than 10-to-1. But we know the mainstream press is completely objective.

Given the way the mainstream press swoops in on sex scandals that involve Republicans, you'd think the media would be all over the allegations surrounding John Edwards' affair and out-of-wedlock child. But the press wants nothing to do with the story. After all, Edwards is a Democrat, and since the media carry Democrats' water, they've punted.

Former U.S. Senator Phil Gramm says "We have sort of become a nation of whiners. You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in 'decline' despite a major export boom that is the primary reason that growth continues in the economy."
