I say this because its not quite at our doorstep yet. We still have a few more weeks of ole Mr. Hot and Dry Summer, but I can see our friend, Fall and she is close, just not quite here yet.  But it is nice to know that we are close to the change of seasons. We’ve been enjoying low 60s at night and mid 80s for highs.

Another round of rain has moved in to our area here in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Round 1 came in just before lunchtime and dropped nearly 1-inch (.93) on us and it appears Round 2 is going to be a bit lighter. We've had some strong lightning today along with occasional high winds. No hail has been reported in our immediate area.
