The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado in Lawrence County at about 12:15 p.m. (CDT) near Highway 243.

A possible tornado damaged an unknown number homes in an area about five miles west of Lawrenceburg, said Bill Phillips, a staff member of the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency. One person was reported injured.
