Emergency Food Box Program

Second Harvest manages an Emergency Food Box program to feed hungry individuals and families on an urgent-need basis. Second Harvest distributes emergency food items at 15 locations throughout Davidson County. The sites are conveniently located for easy accessibility—either within walking distance or access by public transportation—in low-income populated areas.

When I worked downtown, I used to wish I had a card with a list of resources for people down on their luck. I didn't want to give money to panhandlers, but I did wish for ideas to help people who needed a way out of their situation.

Two years later, I found out that such a resource does exist.

I have been looking for office space for a few weeks. My requirements are simple: a window, walking distance to coffee, snacks, and/or lunch, 24 hour access, secure, and in East Nashville. I also have a desire for the space to be the kind of place that I want to go to every day.
