The fight has been scheduled and the sides will soon start squaring off for a rematch on the lost battle two years ago. The issue is liquor sales and it is here again.

More than enough signatures have been collected to place a referendum regarding package stores on the town's Nov. 4 ballot.

Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote in next month’s general election. There will be plenty of interest in Nashville’s School Board election and a few General Assembly primary races, but not a whole lot else.

I have begun some research into whether or not any laws could have been broken if my hunch were to be correct: that is, if former Chattanooga City Council member Marti Rutherford used voter registration data purchased from the Election Commission to send commercial mail related to her real estate business.

As a big fan and supporter of my conservative Congressman Blackburn, one can't turn a blinds eye to her apparent shortcomings that need remedy....
Sloppy and errant bookkeeping AND nepotism within ones staff and or campaign.
