Legislation impacting homeschoolers has kept me away from the blog and haunting the Legislative Plaza. Add to that a husband newly diagnosed with a separated shoulder and torn ligaments who will be home and needing additional care. So for a while my online presence will be minimal.

While we are celebrating a victory here in Tennessee, other homeschoolers around the nation are still in the heart of the battle.  In California, where deviate lifestyles are celebrated and encouraged, parents are on the verge of a mass exodus from public schools, with as many as 600,000 threatening to leave, in favor of homeschooling.  Yet, a court in Los Angeles, has thrown the battle against them, declaring that religious reasons are not enough to qualify.  Read about my commentary abou

Tomorrow the Legislative Plaza will have two very different views of early childhood education on the hill. Tomorrow is Pre-K Day on the Hill. It's also the day many homeschoolers will be attending a House Education sub-committee to voice their opposition to non-public schoolers being subjected to pu
