Having spent the last two decades in the high desert, when I came to Nashville and began wandering the streets in the middle of the summer, by 2pm or so I was just about delirious from the heat and especially the humidity.

A 17-year-old Mt. Pleasant girl was traveling north on Campbellsville Pike when her car crossed the center line and hit a Ford Explorer head-on, killing the driver.
