Understandably, I had fallen asleep during the republican convention, so I was in that 1/2 awake 1/2 asleep stage when I heard a lot of applause.

Still half asleep, I rolled over and opened one eye and asked, "Why is Sally Fields speaking at the republican convention?"

I have decided I’m a zombie. Apparently, my body quit working about six months ago and I’m wandering around in a daze with ruddy skin and torn garments. I haven’t gotten to the eating brains stage yet though so I guess that’s good. I have been eating a lot of homegrown tomatoes. I guess it’s because they are the color of blood.

The day started out great for us in Moscow. We walked around Arbat a little bit, had McDonald's (again) and waited until 7pm for our ride to come and take us to the airport.

My wheezy self is still alive.

I'm on the mend (mostly, I think).

The party was a success, I did end up being able to go downstairs without dying, but I think you've probably figured that out by now.

As you might imagine, at night our group is tired. Very tired. The days our long, and hot, and very sweaty.
