–Considering what a piss-poor job AT&T does of keeping the internet flowing to my house, I don’t think Comcast has to worry about losing me as a cable customer.  If I had TV as infrequently as I have my internet connection, I might pass out.

A couple of days ago Internet users who have AT&T (formerly BellSouth) as their ISP found themselves without Internet access. For some, like myself, it lasted roughly an hour. For others, the outage went on for several hours interrupting business and personal communications.

This post is mostly for my wife since I can’t call home.  I made it, Becky.  I’m in out hotel’s lobby in Uganda.

More than thirty hours of travel and we’re finally here.  We’re all wiped and ready to go to bed.  It’s 2:30 Uganda time (5:30 PM Nashville time) and we’re still up trying to reach family via the internet and post something, anything, to our blogs.  And it’s taking a while because there’s a problem.

2007 was a pretty good year for me blogging. First of all, I want to thank you all for stopping by as often as you do. I’m very excited about our online, clandestine relationship.
