I was wandering the streets Thursday and Friday, and discovered something odd. In covering Wednesday's abandoned HUD house takeover by the Nashville Homeless Power Project, some individuals mistakenly believed that because I was writing the newspaper article for the Contributor, this effort somehow equated me with being a full-fledged supporter of the event.

I have been repeatedly asked by many about my feelings regarding Wednesday's abandoned HUD house takeover by the Nashville Homeless Power Project because some folks seem to mistakenly believe that simply because I am writing the newspaper article for the Contributor, that somehow equates me with being a full fledged supporter of the event. I want to set the record straight here.

Although you hear rumblings of such things from time to time, this is the first time I’ve seen anyone write it down. From the Tennessee Journal:

when someone creates a webpage they like to test it against the main web browsers. Opera, Firefox, and Explorer. They tweak it till they make it so all can see it.

I have found in the last month or so a major item that many do not seem to check. Font size. I reset the default setting for my computers to display font sizes from the standard 'medium' to 'large'. My eyes are needing the extra size for comfort.

Another important date coming up very soon is the deadline to have your voter registration complete in order to participate in the February 5 election. You must be registered by Monday, January 7, 2008.
