bible verse

Continued from part I

Inspired by Jake, I’m going to pull some stuff from old writings, journals, papers, etc that I’ve done and post them here. Below is some rambling thoughts from my journal after my first Art Appreciation class at Wheaton College with Jeff Thompson. But before that, an explanation of my history with art.

Wow. "S-town Mike" at the Enclave Blog is having none of the Tennessean's non-judgmental story about businessmen . . . purporting to be followers of Jesus . . . who go to a religious event at a church located in ritzy Brentwood . . .

–My parents do a Bible devotion every morning.  The other day, the Bible verse had something about having a good heart and my mom started crying.

–I am shocked to see how bad her eyesight is, though they both claim that it’s getting better under the treatment.  Yesterday, she poured herself a bowl of cereal onto a plate of similar size.

–Yes, she drives forty minutes to work and back every day.
