I'm convinced McCain didn't have anyone vetting Sarah Palin. While unlikely a Presidential nominee is going to pick a running mate with an unwed, teenage high school daughter, whose baby daddy refers to himself as a "f***ing redneck," wouldn't McCain be even less likely to pick someone who is in the middle of an investigation?
