We were lucky last night in Neliganville.
Took shelter in the basement once with the family and Sheriff Itchy.
Note from Barb N: Sheriff Itchy hates storms, by the way. Not that he's afraid of them, because he's not. He just hates them.
Got up at midnight and two a.m. when tornado sirens cranked up, but all in all we came through unscathed and for that we are grateful.
As news of the damage came through it seemed so surrreal, and our thoughts and prayers go out

Woke up to an almost flat tire. Got a nail stuck in it. So instead of going to the Neliganville diner, I had to hoof it first thing to Ms. Marco, the Grease Monkey's, Garage and get that hole plugged up.
There were already three cars ahead of me when I got there, so I was looking at an hour and a half wait. With my daily routine already derailed, I decided, "What the heck," instead of walking across town to the diner, I'll get a cup of coffee at the Starbuck's located across the street
