It's sh*t like this that has driven Nashville to begin seeking ways to establish homeless camps that are regulated, patrolled and provide a measure of safety to residents in the camps. Whether the effort pans out remains to be seen but at this point, that it's even on the table is a good thing.....

In July of 2004, Estelle Richardson, an inmate at the CCA Metro Detention Facility was found unresponsive after 4 CCA guards had forcibly removed her from a solitary confinement cell. A few hours later Estelle died. She had a fractured skull, 4 broken ribs and a damaged liver.
