Coby and I are still awaiting word from Russia. It has been pretty quiet here on the home front and I look at that as a good thing. I look at it as God is allowing us to rest and reserve our energy and be ready for when the call comes. The call that will change our home front forever!

The last days of the naugahyde chair.  That chair was so wonderfully comfortable. It had a long, good life.  That’s my baby brother Dean sitting in it.  Today he’s an expectant father - he and his wife Stephanie are due June 21st, the first day of summer.

Mitt Romney will endorse John McCain today and urge his delegates to support the inevitable nominee.

Romney had suspended instead of ended his campaign, some speculated, for the very reason that he wished to keep his delegates in the remote case of a brokered convention. The release of delegates and endorsement is thus significant.

one of the underlying stories over Christmas was my sister-in-law being on the phone for many reasons. her father was given days to live and placed into hospice care. he had been battling a cancer for the last year. it was not too long after her mother passed away that they found her fathers cancer. some time late in the week before Christmas they had given him days to live.
