procrastination

So, I feel like I haven’t written much of substance on here recently. And because I’ve been posting some old posts I’ve sort of ended up with a month long writer’s block that I haven’t done anything or had any reason to get over.

With gas over $4 a gallon and politicians trying to blame each other for not having done anything, let me apply some reason and fresh focus to what is going on here.

So life continues here without ADSL (for the record, we’ve been waiting four months). Our ISP claims that they have done everything and the ball is in OTE’s court, and for that, we could wait months more. The irony is that if we had chosen an ISDN line we would have had ADSL already, but we kept thinking that since everything was filed already, changing the line to ISDN might have screwed it all up. I've always struggled with procrastination. So even though I am very interested in politics, and even though I KEEP UP (much to my wife's chagrin) with politics, I still feel like I'm cramming for the GOP primary; scrambling to pick a candidate.

I have one encompassing New Year’s Resolution I think is worth sharing, as it will affect this blog. No, I’m not leaving the blog, I hope to write a post a day as I have for about a year now. What I do plan on doing is writing more from my heart and mind, rather than writing for the sole purpose of ‘blog worthy’ material. Don’t get me wrong, I do intend for what I write to be interesting to you, but I want to steer away from my focus on the popularity of my blog.
