Does anyone know why a child's toy that cost $12.99 comes packaged in a heavy cardboard box, tied down tight with industrial strength twist ties, and further secured by screws that attach it to a thick plastic base inside the box?

Popeye The Sailor Kid

Kathy, a local friend and blogger, hit me with a meme, and while I am late, i did not forget this one.

So here goes.

1. Wrapping or gift bags? What ever is easiest
2. Real or artificial tree? Fake..and it rotates and has fiber optic lights. WalGreen special
3. When do you put up the tree? Normally the beginning of Dec. but this year we simply did not get around to it.
4. When do you take the tree down? The week after<

My in-laws gave me a sweet new iPod Nano. I had been wanting one for a while because my iPod photo feels too big and bulky, and I am willing to trade off disk space for pocket space.

Sabrina and I gave Carter and Zavier iPod shuffles. They love them and I love that I am able to set the max volume on my computer so that they don’t go deaf before they exit elementary school.

So Linda is writing about being the last one to get around to this Christmas meme. Linda is one of the smartest people I know, so I think I must just be late in getting to this.
