Though not on the same magnitude as that poem, this is the second bowl of this fancy-pants raisin bran we bought and I’m now convinced that there are no raisin in the box.

Which makes me sad when I go to eat it, but the more I think about it, the funnier it is.

There was a magnitude 5.2 earthquake up the road from us (near Evansville) at 4:36am (CST) this morning!

About 4:40 am, I was awoken by the sound of my housing shaking. It was almost like the same type of sound from a very strong wind gust. As I became more awake, I knew it was an earthquake. Our light on our ceiling fan rattled as well.

Dear City Paper: A Better Bells Bend Plan Has Already Been Offered

The editorial in Friday's City Paper issues a lame challenge to those of us who oppose the latest fashionable plan to "develop" Bells Bend. They admonish us to share a better idea, even though the resisting Bells Bend community has been working on a sub-area plan that looks like a better idea.
