woe

The AP turned out one of those "woe is me" stories a few days ago regarding the tax rebate checks that started going out last month. Instead of buying big-screen TV's and iPods, many Americans are apparently using their windfall on cost of living.

For some reason - cuteness, perhaps - the Bug sleeps really well in the car … when music is playing. I have to maintain a good selection of cds in the car so I won’t go insane. But I can’t listen to NPR - she simply won’t sleep. The last thing I need is a thirty minute commute with a fussy baby.

Okay.  This post was up all day with “alludes” instead of “eludes” in the title.
