I’ve added some new links to the old blog roll as well (which rotates - perhaps I should explain why sometime?).

The Bug is now sitting pretty reliably by herself.

She’s been able to sit for several months now, but you always had to keep her from flopping over and hurting herself. It is way easier to coordinate her now that you can plop her in the floor with a toy and know that she won’t end up bonking her head.

"Hi... Lindsay?" a woman asked me at the supermarket yesterday.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I'm Aimee Taylor," she said. "We cheered together in Junior High."

"Oh my gosh!" I said. "Wow. Hi."

"I used to see you on TV all the time when you were a reporter here," she continued, "and I always thought, 'I know her!'"

Regular folks making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

While it isn't much when compared to what we as a nation should be able to muster, it might mean all the difference in the world to some of those women at the day shelter....

Adam, it's amazing to think you've been here for a month. In some ways, it feels like that crazy Sunday was just a few days ago, but when I factor in the time it has taken to change 223 diapers, it feels like a month, at least. The time that we have spent has been in two- to three-hour spurts, and a lot of it was crying or feeding, but it's been quality time.
