Get involved in this presidential campaign! Let your voice be heard! Show the world how you feel. If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive with your headlights on during the day. If you support Obama or Hillary, please drive with your headlights off at night.

Seems like a lot of rain although I doubt it’s doing much to make up for last year’s big drought. This morning’s commute was a little stressful…I don’t like driving in the rain (who does?) and because it was still so dark when I left home, I was blinded by the headlights of oncoming traffic.

Saturday's show was another game of catch-up - lots of great new tunes from great new albums, along with a healthy dose of the new Whigs CD - Mission Control - to get everyone psyched about the show at the Mercy Lounge (which was excellent, by the way - those boys improve a little every time I see them).   If you still haven't had a chance to, go ahead and:

I have been up since a bit after 7:00 am this morning to get some stuff done around the house. The plan for today included a bit of house work and then meeting up with G-Man and SueBoo to watch Cool Ronald and his band, Flat Rock Revivial, rock out tonight.

Yesterday as we were on the way back from dropping off more crap at our new house, an errant cow found its way onto the road. Up near our house, where there are lots of open fields, that wouldn’t be such a weird thing, but this actually happened in the village proper, where there are rows upon rows of buildings. Sure, just beyond the shops of the busy village center there are fields and farms, but this heifer had to stray pretty damn far on its own to get where it was.
