I got here to hospice in Cincinnati on Tuesday. When I came, my dad was not entirely incoherent. We had a 20 second conversation.



--I'm here dad, I've come back to see you.

--I'm glad you came back, thomas.

--I'm glad to be here.

--Thank you for coming.

--I want you to know I love you, Daddy.

--I love you too Thomas.

I'm in Cincinnati OH at a hospice that looks like a non-descript office park. My dad is chatting it up with the nurse.



He's not attached to anything but oxygen. No monitors or fluids or anything. That should please him.

As you read this I should be in Red Sox territory.  At least I will be if Delta is ready when I am.  I'll be flying out mid-morning via Atlanta and should be in Bean Town by mid afternoon.  The return trip is scheduled for late Friday afternoon and home via Cincinnati with arrival at 9pm.   Those are the same flights I flew in A
