Hadn't done one in a while, and my mind cannot come up with any one idea today. It's like a word search up there, all the letters blending together.

Talked to an old friend today. Didn't really get a chance to catch up, but you know how sometimes it's just nice to hear someone's voice?

I admit it. I met my match. His name is Mr. Flu  Enza. He knocked me out.

Considering I am about 54 months pregnant, I can take very few medicines that actually relieve any symptoms.

desperately needing normalcy

It’s sort of strange to sit down and try to think back to the time when things felt “normal”.  After all, it is a very relative idea.  What is normal for me may not be normal for you.  I guess that is the first step, figuring out what normal should look like, then figuring out how to get there.  It seems like such a gradual process that life runs on.  Things creep along, until suddenly it’s out of control.

I went out of town to Memphis for work, but was so jammed up with time that not only did I not eat BBQ, but fail to snap a photo in the Bluff City.

Nonetheless, I went back in the 365 for 2007 archives one year ago for this entry:

Snowed In

So, after witnessing the exciting snowfall of last night, I woke up to a good ground covering.  If you live anywhere else other than in the south, you will think this idea is absurd.  We have an inch of snow on the ground…maybe 2 inches in some places.  That is enough to shut down the area and send everyone into a panic-stricken mode of operation.  My mom stayed home from work, refusing to get out in it.  My aunts piled into a 4 wheel drive SUV to brave the elements.

EAR WORMS, COOL MAX AND BABIES

It's rained very hard for most of the day in East Tennessee and has been so overcast that even Santa wouldn't want to fly.  I've had an ear worm all day with Elvis singing "I'll have a blue blue blue blue Christmas without you".  It's been that kind of day.  I shouldn't complain though--at last count we were not quite twenty inches below our normal rainfall.
