Some disturbing news that employees at LP Field who traditionally use local homeless folks for cleanup at Titans games last Friday decided to go with a different group of workers.

Last night at LP Field in Nashville, the Tennessee Titans 34-13 victory over the St. Louis Rams showcased rookie Chris Johnson, whose 66 yard touchdown, 77 (total) yards rushing and one 13 yard pass reception caught the attention of everyone watching.

I watched it on television, and Johnson was very exciting, and he seemed to electrify the live crowd.

It was really good to see football being played at LP Field again.  The Titans looked pretty impressive all the way around tonight.  The one piece of tonight's game that was a little disappointing was the first team offense, but they weren't on the field enough to really get a feel for where they are.  We will get to see more of them in the next 2 games.

It is reported that Brett Favre has been traded to the New Your Jets for a conditional 4th round pick that could be a 1st round if he takes them to the Super Bowl.  Also there is a clause that if they trade him to the Vikings they will give the Packers 3 first round picks.

Chad Pennington will be released today according to reports.

The NFL announced plans today to adopt a "Code of Conduct for Fans" that all 32 teams in the league will follow.

More than 2,000 hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trick trucks rolled into LP Field over the weekend for The Goodguys 3rd Nashville Nationals Hot Rod and Custom Car Show. The event featured rides from 1972 and earlier.
